The Academy will provide members with regular group discussions on performance improvement and the maintenance of health while engaging in Weightlifting training.

The head coach of the Academy is Leo Isaac, a Weightlifting Coach of more than 30 years experience and a Moscow 1980 Olympian. At his best, Leo was twice Commonwealth Record Holder  in the Clean and Jerk and placed 10th in the 1979 World Weightlifting Championships (Greece) and 9th in the 1985 World Weightlifting Championships (Sweden).
